Three Dimensional Modeling

Experimentation into bridging the gap between industrial and graphic design.

Using Rhino and Illustrator to render and design models that were laser cut from chipboard and glued together with rubber cement.

The process developed a better understanding of form and counter form and opened the doors to typography design.

These models were selected to represent the University of Illinois at Chicago’s School of Design at the 2018 furniture convention, ICFF and were recognized by the STA & Graphis.
